Worship/Media
Making Sense of Social Media and Leveraging it for Ministry
Social networking often seems more like a web than a network. It can be overwhelming when we look at all that is available. How do we as Pastors and leaders navigate this maze? Is it possible to use these as tools for ministry, or are they just black holes consuming our time? Do we need a "Social Media" policy in the church? In this session we will look at these questions and discover the usefulness in social networking as well as the extreme possibilities without becoming consumed by them. It is possible to effectively participate and still be productive. We will work to equip you with the information you need to make wise decisions regarding the use of social media in your context.

Even the Best Players Need a Coach!
This session will be an overview of the church Life Coaching Cohort which begins in January of 2011. Church Life is a comprehensive, mission focused, Pentecostal approach to church health and growth. Church Life works through the lead pastor by establishing a structured coaching relationship! This coaching relationship has two focuses. The first is coaching the lead pastor so that he can reach his full potential! The second is coaching the lead pastor through a strategic plan for the growth, health, and development of the church. This strategic plan is developed as a consultant working with the coach and the lead pastor assesses the strengths and limitation of the church and its ministries. Every coach has a game plan, every chef has a recipe, every musician has a score, and every builder has a blue print. A minister needs an internal design showing how church life is supposed to happen. The coach will walk with the pastor in a consistent structured relationship thus enabling the pastor to be supported in this journey! The coach's job is to help the pastor succeed in the fulfillment of His God given vision for that church!

Kathy Trowbridge is a lady who enjoys being active in the ministry. Kathy is the Northwest Sectional Women's Leader. Her husband, Randy, and Kathy have been pastors at Delta Assembly of God for twenty-five years, where they have seen the blessing of God take them through three building projects including the relocation of the church. The most recent church building project completed last March for a 500 seat sanctuary will prove to be a real blessing to such a small community. Currently, Kathy works as the children's pastor, where her burden for the youth of America can easily be seen. This burden for young people carries over into her job as teacher at Delta Middle School. She is an eighth grade language arts teacher who also sponsors the Delta Middle School Bible Club. She obtained her Bachelors of Arts Degree in Education at the University of Minnesota, and her Masters in Computer Technology from BGSU.

Mighty Men or Missing Men – What's In Your Church?
America is suffering unspeakable consequences as a result of the fatherless home. The hope for these broken homes is Jesus, however, they only find a church which mimics a culture in being fatherless. If as a pastor/men's leader you want to move beyond the theoretical and into the practical, looking for and addressing the most obvious missing link in becoming a healthy church, then you might want to consider this politically incorrect breakout of restoring the ministry of the male high priesthood as armor bearers in the local church.
Pastor Mark is the lead pastor of Rock of Grace Family Ministries in Kinsman, Ohio. He graduated from Southeastern University in 1985. Upon graduation, he pastored in Florida for 7 years until coming to Rock of Grace in the spring of 1992. Rock of Grace is a rural church, unattached to any one community, but its influence reaches a community-at-large with the hope and love of Jesus Christ. Their mission statement "Reaching Up for the Help - Reaching Out to the Hurting" has proved to be a prophetic mantle. Pastor Mark has a passion to see men become strong men of God. He is a Police Chaplain and is also trained in critical incident stress management disciplines, assisting first responders in incident recovery. Pastor Mark is not a storm chaser, but one who desires to be available to offer hope and faith to those who find themselves in the midst of the storms of life.
Making Men's Ministry Work
In this breakout, we will talk about what makes Men's Ministry work and what does not. We'll discuss several critical roadblocks that keep a men's ministry pathetic. We'll also discuss avenues that clear the way for men to engage in the life that God has called them to. There will be a Q & A time and a sharing time from other men's leaders.

He was ordained in 1989 with the North Carolina District Council of the Assemblies of God. They moved to Ashland, Ohio in March of 2002, where they presently pastor New Life Community Church. Their mission statement "every person matters" explains their heartbeat in fulfilling the Great Commission. He and Lisa (Women's Ministry Director) have been married 25 years. They have four children.
